Analytics and performance
Where analytics are running, they collect counts rather than people: which guides were opened, roughly which region a reader came from, whether the visit happened on a phone or a desktop. That is the whole picture — we use it to decide which explanations about energy and endurance supplements deserve more depth, and which pages can be trimmed. No profile is built for advertising, and you lose nothing on the site by blocking these.
Grouped counts only — no personal profile
Essential cookies in practice
Essential cookies do the quiet work. One keeps a session open while you move between pages. One carries a security token so a form cannot be submitted by a script pretending to be you. One records that a notice has already been shown, so it is not repeated on every scroll. Because they protect the form and the session itself, they cannot be switched off from inside the site — the only way to remove them is through your browser settings, which will stop parts of the site from functioning.
